Summary: Single Woman with small budget = GREAT MECHANICS!!!
Review: I recently took my Chevy Tahoe to An Honest Mechanic after researching auto mechanics in the AV area for a few days. Loved the name of the shop but still suspicious and weary of being charged for things that are not necessary. That is until I actually went into the shop and spoke to Terry. What a great guy! I had a fantastic experience getting my car service and fixed up by these guys. They are truly honest and do great work. I won't take my car to any place else in the future!

Summary: The ONLY place I take my cars.
Review: I have been taking my cars to Honest Auto since I moved up to the AV 7 years ago. The first time I went was based on the recommendations of my co-workers. Another shop told me that I needed $1300 worth of work when I took a car in for an oil change. I took my car into Honest Auto and Terry told me what I actually needed. From that experience alone it was easy to see that Terry was running an honest business and that other place...not so much. I've never looked back.

Summary: Wonderful Service
Review: I went to An Honest Auto for what I thought would be a major repair, they spent 20 minutes looking at my vehicle, found what was really wrong, which was minor, and made several very minor adjustments, with no charge! They saved me from a very costly, and needless, repair!

Summary: These guys are GREAT... met & beat my expectations! They live up to their Name!
Review: I'm not a novice to automotive repair; being almost 60 years old and having built a couple of Hot Rods in my 20s and since then having had high-performance sports cars & off-road jeeps... but with my work, I didn't have the time to deal with our mini-van. Knowing in advance the problems our van had, I kept my mouth shut and left it with the friendly people at An Honest Auto Shop to get their opinion & an estimate. Not only did they give me an accurate estimate, but they went way beyond the ordinary service that the vast majority of shops (and Dealers) would ever do... for NO EXTRA CHARGE! We (our family) are now loyal Customers & we highly recommend them to anyone seeking a professional, reliable and most importantly, an HONEST Automotive Garage.

Summary: Excellent place to get your car serviced
Review: I moved to the area last year and immediately looked around for an honest mechanic that I could trust to work on my cars. I heard a commercial on the radio (Christian station) and decided to give them a shot. I've been back about 4-5 times since, a testament to their work and professionalism. Terry and the team will tell you honestly (and show you the part or issue) about your car and if something really needs to be done or if you could wait (very important in today's economy). They've saved me several hundred dollars on work that I needed but could wait until I had the time and money to do it. I will miss this shop when I move (again) in the next few months, but have and will recommend their shop to all my friends and coworkers. With the exception of one time having to wait several hours for my car after leaving it with them all day the prior day, great work and great place to go. Thanks Terry and crew, A+ work at a reasonable price! One suggestion, if possible... get more comfortable chairs for the waiting room and possibly a TV to watch while waiting.

Summary: Honest and very upfront.
Review: An Honest Auto Shop was very upfront with me, and they worked on the last job I had in there until they found the problem. Terry wouldn't release the car to me with it still not being right. He said he wouldn't feel right about it, so he worked on it, came up with an answer, and fixed it. He used all available resources at his disposal. I have used them since last year, and they are great. They are honest and are very upfront.

Summary: An Honest Auto is honest with all their repairs and quotes!
Review: I've probably had 6 cars in the last 10 years, and I am probably one of An Honest Auto Shop's best customers. They have treated every vehicle and all the problems have been totally fixed. They are very knowledgeable on every type of vehicle, and I send all my friends there.
The service is great. They are very quick. I'm actually almost 35 miles away, and I drive all that way to get their service. They are really knowledgeable about vehicles.

Summary: It's not just their name!
Review: I take my wife's car and my car to An Honest Auto Shop exclusively for all the work we need done. We are always very pleased with the results as well as the deals we get.
We take the car in, and they do a very good job. They very rarely miss anything. We have been using them since day one. The name really speaks for itself. They always tell the customer exactly what it is going to cost, and what went wrong with the car ahead of time. Their name says it all; it is definitely an honest auto shop.
